So just how picky? I'll give you some examples...
I would find one food that I liked, and eat that food as my meals for approximately an entire year, until I was finally so sick of it, I wouldn't eat it anymore.
I probably only bought a school lunch 5 times from 1st - 8th grade. Once I got to high school, they had Domino's pizza, so I was happy to buy lunch...
1st Grade: Strawberry PB&J Sandwiches (no chunks in the jelly, creamy peanut butter only on wheat bread)
2nd Grade: Lebanon bologna rolled up with cream cheese
3rd Grade: Pepperoni (yep, a bag of pepperoni's)
4th Grade: Bagel (Egg or Plain bagel, with butter or cream cheese)
5th Grade: Pita pocket with PB&J or deli turkey
6th Grade: Dry Cereal
7th Grade: Yogurt (Strawberry flavor)
8th Grade: Turkey Sandwich (deli turkey on a small potato roll, no toppings)
9th Grade: a slice of Domino's pizza for lunch, grilled Italian dressing chicken for dinner and pasta (in a foil packet, no grill marks!)
10th Grade: a pack of Domino's breadsticks, grilled Italian dressing chicken for dinner and pasta
11th Grade: Domino's pizza, grilled Italian dressing chicken for dinner and pasta
12th Grade: KFC Popcorn Chicken or Taco Bell plain soft chicken taco (It took him a few years, but thanks to my hubs for at least getting me to expand to try a soft chicken taco... I could drive to pick up food at lunch that year...), grilled Italian dressing chicken for dinner and pasta (at least 4 years of grilled chicken, my dad is still traumatized by it...)
College: Velveeta shells & cheese, ramen noodles, baked potatoes, roast beef, pasta. (and other strange things, I'm sure...)
